A Press Start compartilhou  algumas informações sobre um novo modelo do PS5 que já está sendo comercializado na Austrália. Segundo o portal, o console com leitor de disco agora pesa cerca de 500 gramas a menos em comparação com a versão original

PlayStation 5 com leitor de disco:

  • CFI-1000A (lançado em 2020) – 4.5kg
  • CFI-1100A (2021) – 4.2kg
  • CFI-1200A (2022) – 3.9kg
